In this hands on, full day, virtual seminar, you get to BE the fraud investigator on two cases using data to identify the perpetrator and quantify the loss.
Most investigators know they can figure out how to work a fraud investigation, but what if there was a way to practice working a fraud case while leveraging data, and having questions answered by a pro in a small group setting?
Leah Wietholter, CFE, PI has prepared a one-day seminar to show you the ropes of working a fraud investigation using data from start to finish! Each session is presented by an experienced Certified Fraud Examiner with hands-on learning activities. The seminar includes both The Investigation Game | Case of the Man Cave and The Investigation Game | Case of the Cash Flow Fiasco and fulfill the annual 2 hours of ethics requirements.
At the conclusion of this seminar, you will have practical tools and experience to work fraud investigations with confidence and 8 hours of CPE.
Four separate 2 CPE sessions for a total of 8 CPEs for the event. The sessions include two lecture sessions and two interactive learning sessions through investigation games.
Two sessions include interactive games which require participation through a computer and would not be conducive to calling in on the phone for these two sessions.
Registration will be open until 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 2, 2021. If you have any questions please send an email to AlbanyACFE@aol.com.
